Introduction
 

Vishvodayaa Trust is a registered Social charitable non-profit making body.

• Vishvodayaa Trust is registered with the Indian Income Tax for Section 80G exemption under Income Tax Act 1961, the approval of the Director of Income Tax (Exemptions), Chennai, vide order, DIT(E) No.2(435)/2003-2006. Individual donors/ company can claim exemption for the contribution to the Trust.

• Vishvodayaa Trust is registered with Ministry Of Home Affairs, Government Of India for 100% exemption  for foreign donors under the Foreign Contribution(Regulation)Act,1976 vide order No. II/21022/67(184)/2006-FCRA-III dated August 8,2006

Vishvodayaa Trust works for the welfare and development of underprivileged people, women and children. The focus is on social problems with an emphasis on rehabilitation and education to the downtrodden and weaker sections.
 

"Vishvodayaa" means, "awakening the world" and the logo signifies life, energy, enlightenment, strength, and vitalization. Vishvodayaa Trust truly believes that this awakening can happen only by uplifting the "have-nots". Social emancipation, key to this upliftment, is through the concept of "self-help". 

The trust's credo is "amelioration and development of neglected and downtrodden woman and children to make them have a meaningful place in the society”. To fulfill this credo and to germinate and ramify the values of self-help, the trust organizes and conducts study groups, workshops, seminars, awareness camps and different programmes.

BAALYAA, a Montessori and Kindergarten Primary School and Crèche, is functioning under Vishvodayaa Trust. From a child seeking help, to one daring to try and experiment... That is the essence of the Baalyaa.
